When I was 13 and my friend convinced me to go out for the cross country team, I never thought I’d actually enjoy running. I only did it then for exercise.
In 2010 when I picked it back up after a convincingly long seven year absence, I again did it only for exercise. Now I just really like it. And my feet don’t like it when I do. I’m determined to figure out to how train them to run again though.
